Protek Norr goes even more efficient! 00-11-10
During the last six mounths Protek Norr has put a lot of effort into making transport
of drill rigs and supplies more efficient in terrain as well as on the road.
To move drill rigs an materials Protek has acquired a new truck Volvo F10.
A new more compact field equipment comprising rod handling, fuel, resting-hut etc. was
built during November.
The number of field rigs was increased by one unit during November.
Production results keeps on! 00-09-10
Close to 1200 meter cores were produced by one of Proteks fieldrigs last August. The drilling was done in the Skelleftea field with work shift DK2 which coresponds to 80 hours a week.
Protek Norr reinforces railroad bridges.

Drilling works have been done for Banverket during last summert in the Kiruna area.
Reinforcements of bridge-alentments on the railroad between Kiruna and Narvik are required
in order to handle the planned increases of iron-ore loads.
Protek Norr has done core drillings through a number of concrete abutments to
prepare reinforcements of the bridges.
High production results. 00-06-14
Protek produced more than 1700 meter cores during the mounth of May in the Gällivare area. The drill operators worked with shiftform K2, which means that the drillrig used, was running 120 hours a week.
